The story of Lasso begins in the Fall of 2022. Where we find the strength and courage of one dog who managed to survive from his war torn home during the Ukraine war, while battling PTSD and crippling anxiety, and begin his journey to starting a new life in the United States.

The story of Butler is not just about a dog. It is about a living soul that is just 4 years old, but has seen it all. He finds his entire life flipped upside down, thrown into a box and shoved in the underbelly of plane, entering into the unknown and landing in the heart of Boston, Massachusetts. Emerging into a life that is completely new.

How do you take a dog who has seen more heartbreak and loss, than you will possibly ever see, and even fathom starting a new life? Well, this was the challenge Butler faced, and through countless PTSD attacks, sleepless nights, and very extensive and positive re-enforcement training, gives us who Butler is today. The most loving and goofiest dog you'll ever meet, but has the eyes that if he could talk, would simply make you feel that pit in your stomach, and your heart ripple with grief.
